We have developed Polyquaternium-10, which is used as a conditioning material for shampoo; and Behentrimonium Chloride, which is a cationic surfactant. In addition, we have developed a natural moisturizer, thickener and emulsifier and supply them to customers around the world. We also supply industrial raw materials such as secondary amine and tertiary amine, consequently diversifying our R&D fields.
Recently, we have developed and succeeded in the commercialization of highly functional biocompatible substance, MPC (2-methacryloyloxyethyl phosphorylcholine), contributing to the evolution of human-friendly technology through its application to the manufacture of contact lenses and medical supplies.
We have an independent laboratory with advanced equipment to support a rapid and accurate sample analysis, and we operate a system to meet customers’ needs through formulation development.
With the constant development of products and diverse customer demands, KCI’s R&D Institute will continue to lead the rapidly changing world market for cosmetics raw materials through the accumulation of technology and creativity of our researchers.
